Q: Texas legislature had decided to "punish the children for their parents' breaking the law" of coming here illegally. The law said these illegal kids couldn't go to public schools. Supreme Court struck down the law as unconstitutional, saying it wasn't in the state's interest to have a subclass of truant children who didn't break the law themselves. Do you agree w. their ruling?
A: I do and I don't. Nobody should be denied education, however, if they were found to be illegal, why weren't they deported? The truth is that we utilize illegals as slave labor and are more than happy to keep them working here for very little money and with no rights.
