Q: I asked a question about some specific government spending, and most replies were along the lines that "it may be wasteful, but it is better than some of the other things the government could spent it on". It didnt seem occur to anyone that if the government didnt spend it, then THEY COULD KEEP IT - i.e. taxes could be reduced... Has the whole western world been conditioned to beleive that the government are *entitled* to take their property (money), even with out good reason?
A: Conservatives don'r, Republicans don't like it. But that's the only way a socialist can operate. They have to vote in new programs under some stupid ideology that they want the government to take care of them. Nice idea on paper, but it never works in real life and they losers would rather put America through hell trying to institute it. Liberals fall somewhere in between, alot don't seem to have much of an ability to do critical thinking enough to realize...historically...that their "good intentions" have usually done more harm than good. Too many ride the emotional roller coaster instead of being logical, thourough and use common sense. Sure, i know there's exceptions, but if anyone in general is actually intelligent, know's history and has common sense, changes are they wouldn't be a liberal. Because they face the truth no matter how bad it is. Statistics and many books based on wide survey's have shown liberal ideology much less than what they think they are. They give less to charity, are more likely to not take care of friends and family, less values, less morals, all the things that good ole America stands for.
