Biden: Paying higher taxes patriotic?

Q: This coming from the guy who gave $300 to charity last year. Really generous with my money - with his... not so much. Is this guy serious, or is he just trying to scuttle the Obama campaign? Please tell me where taxes are optional. My bags are packed. I'll leave you to pay for the Democrat Fannie Mae debacle. And no, they're not a "civic duty" - they're an obligation under penalty of imprisonment - in most cases they're illegal and/or unconstitutional. Right Lesha - without even questioning where it's going, whether they're getting ripped off / helping their friends or the legality of it. So when I say I'm running some charity to "help people" I guess you'll give me a blank check without any questions? THAT is why we are working until April to pay our taxes every year.

A: Taxes raised to fund a common defense, a highway system, national infrastructure etc... All well and good. Taxes raised to permanently fund a poor class and financially enslave them into a voter block for the Democrat party is criminal. Think about the TRILLIONS and TRILLIONS of dollars that have been spent on the poor in this country since the late 1960's. The poverty level which LBJ's War on Poverty was going to cure, has done little to nothing, but flush TRILLIONS of dollars down the proverbial toilet. But, what it has been successful in doing is brain washing an entire social class into believing they are being benefited by Government Welfare programs. Then there are the bleeding heart leftist socialists in this country, that feel great thinking the government is helping so many people. As long as it is the Government's money and not their money doing the helping. Most of the said bleeding hearts don't understand that the Government's only form of income it to extort it one way or another from them. Do you people have any idea how much money the goverment costs you over your life times? Social Security and Medicare for example will cost the average person making $32,000/year a MILLION dollars. How? If you make $32,000/ year coming out of college at the age of 23 and never make a penny more than $32,000 a year until you are 65, the government will cost you 1 million dollars. The government (between you and your employer) takes 12.4% of your paycheck every month for S.S. and Medicare. at 32 grand a year that works out to be about $3968 per year. It that amount of money were invested yearly for 41 years at an 8% return on your investment? $1,207,000 dollars would be yours when you turn 65. If you lived to be 80 years old, you would have about $80,400/year to live on. Instead, the federal governemnt is going to give you a poverty level $1,100 dollars a month or about $13,200 a year to live on. If you live the same 15 year? You get a whopping $198,000 from your government. and would have been RIPPED off for $1,000,000 dollars. What has the government done with that ONE MILLION DOLLARS it has stolen from everyone on Social Security today? All the bleeding hearts think, "Oh, we are so kind. We are so kind. They are mean, because they don't want social programs. But not us we are kind and what to help people." YOUR HELPING TO STEAL FROM PEOPLE... Wake up.
